I had the big breakfast it was delicious and I couldn't eat it all. Waitresses were friendly and coffee cup was always full. The owner was at the counter and we had a good conversation. I felt like a regular on my first visit.. Highly recommend.

2nd time here, Excellent food and even better customer service! Highly recommend to anyone who eats food!

My friends, and I stopped here for a quick break while in the area, we sat down to enjoy a hot cup of some thing, and a quick bite to eat. The table we sat at is right, smack in the middle of the place, it felt a little bit crowded. However, the food was great, classic diner, food. The staff was very friendly and welcoming And the service was quick. Definitely would recommend for a great Diner experience!

Wife and I both ordered 15 dollar chicken salads, and an order of onion rings (which only consisted of 7 onion rings) while the food was delicious the portions were tiny we both were still hungry after leaving there. The chicken salad was roughly the same size as a side salad from applebees just to give you a size reference. The staff and the service were top notch and the dinor was well kept. Would be a 5 star place if the portions were bigger. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this place if your hungry.

Delicious lunch! My husband and I were visiting the covered bridges in the area and stopped at the State Street Diner for lunch. The food was delicious! The service was outstanding! We had sandwiches, fries and mac salad. The owner was so friendly - we really enjoyed our conversation! He even brought us out pancakes for dessert - best pancakes we have ever eaten hands down! We will definitely come back when we are in the area.

Awesome food, great servers. Food was great but slow to come out. We had a party of 5 and we all got our food about 10 minutes apart from each other. But everything else was great. Will visit again

fun local atmosphere good back story friendly local service good food. gravy and fries and Haddock very good.

Late Fri lunch. Picked at random. Easy to find. Plenty of parking. An odd entrance thru a side door. Quirky Americana decor. Seating at tables, booth and counter. Prompt friendly service from a large menu. B'fast available all day. We chose a club sandwich and cheese omelette. Problem number 1: $2.50 for an 8oz ice tea with no refill is obscene. Problem number 2: using the stale heel of the bread loaf for the club sandwich bottom is poor presentation. The sandwich broke up as soon as I picked it up. The food itself was good. The fries were outstanding. The Diner is up for sale. So change is already in the works. We enjoyed the meal. My curiosity was really picqued by the radio station sign across the street.
